Our Location

Blair Vineyards is located in northeastern Berks County at an elevation of over 1000 feet above sea level. Our gravelly soils have southern exposures, warm afternoons and cool evenings allowing our fruit to reach its full varietal character. 

The vineyard is planted with Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Chenin Blanc. New Vineyard plantings will include Merlot, Gewürztraminer and Riesling.

Our philosophy is to grow only European grapes of noble heritage, and to turn these grapes into wine of similar European styles.  This is done through carefully tending to each vine, handpicking the fruit at maturity and fermenting most of the wines in French and American oak barrels.
