February 13th & 14th – Berks County Wine Trail, Wine & Chocolate Weekend @ the Winery. 12 noon – 5 pm both days
Enjoy Valentine’s weekend with the eight family owned wineries in Berks County. Wine & Chocolate weekend features decadent chocolate desserts paired with selected wines at each winery. Stop by Blair Vineyards and enjoy Mocha French Kisses (a coffee chocolate truffle) paired with our 2005 Lower Block Pinot Noir. The pairing at each winery is free, and while some wineries may have an additional tasting fee, tastings are still free at Blair Vineyards. Please visit the Berks County Wine Trail website for additional information about the chocolate pairings at the additional seven wineries on the trail. Jackie & Daughter from 2:15 – 3
pm. (Snow date March 20th) Ticket Needed.
Please join Blair Vineyards and other local wineries and breweries at the 2nd
annual Friend Fest. Friend Inc is a local non profit organization that
supports the well being of those in need locally. All proceeds from tickets
sales will go towards ending poverty in rural Northeastern Berks County. Visit
Friend Inc. for additional information on purchasing tickets as well as local vendors that
will be present. An additional wine and cheese presentation will take place
at Jackie & Daughter where Blair Vineyards wines will be paired with local
cheeses from Hendrick Farms and Dairy located in Telford.
April 17th & 18th – Berks County Wine Trail, Taste of Berks
@ the Winery.
12 noon – 5 pm both days
Join the Berks County Wine Trail for their Taste of Berks weekend. Local Berks County Fair will be paired with selected wines at each of the eight wineries on the trail. Please check back for additional information as the date approaches.
May 21st – Spring Township Savory Sampler @ Janssen Center, Penn State Berks Campus. 5:30 – 7:30. Tickets Needed.
Blair Vineyards will be pouring wine samples along side of local restaurants
and delis at beautiful Penn State Berks Campus. Complimentary food
and wine is available with ticket purchases.
Tickets are available
at the Township
of Spring Parks & Recreation Department or
you can order by phone at 610-678-5399. They are $12 in advance,
and $15 at the door. Additional information will be posted at
the event draws closer.
Additional Information
Several of our vintages are running low. Currently we have less than 5 cases of our 2004 Pinot Gris, 2004 Pinot Noir, 2005 Merlot, and Enlightenment. If any of these are your favorite, please stop in as soon as possible to guarantee availability.
